The good-looking Sony Ericsson K850i is a 3G camera phone which will surprise its user & all around them. The Sony Ericsson K850i mobile phone is a member of the Sony Ericsson K series which is a camera focused phone like Sony Ericsson K800i & the Sony Ericsson K810i. The phone is available with user-friendly features & focuses highly on the camera & media features. The phone measures 102mm x 48mm x 17mm. The handset is available in two colors casings such as luminous green and a velvet blue color. The luminous green option gives the user with a black colored casing with highlights of green & the velvet blue option gives a black & grey casing with highlights of bright blue. The phone has a big high colour screen which is available with a scratch proof defense & a high screen resolution. The 3G phone is available with 40 Mbytes of preloaded memory & the memory card be extended by inserting a memory stick micro™ M2™ or a MicroSD™ memory card.

A few words:

Memories from the MWC event are no doubt still fresh (not only because it was about half a month ago), but also because the manufacturers have done their best in order to impress us. Thinking about it, it was probably Samsung Mobile that managed to put up the most remarkable performance. However, among the countless phones that were introduced by Samsung, there were a few of them that definitely deserved more attention than the others. These several handsets have excelled in having a remarkable design, overtaking functionality and… of course, large touch-sensitive screens.


You certainly remember that one of these was the Samsung UltraTOUCH, which is going to be the new high-end model in the manufacturer’s Ultra series. Being an Ultra series phone means that it will bring together the positive sides of other more narrowly developed devices and put everything in a nice and good-looking body, making it easily acceptable by the common user. The UltraTOUCH will be Samsung’s flagship model in the course of 2009, as it combines several key features. To begin with, it sports a 2.8-inch touch-sensitive display, which allows it to take advantage of the latest TouchWiz user interface and a rich number of widgets, automatically turning it into an adequate modern device. On the other hand, it is also equipped with an up-to-date 8-megapixel camera. You would say it is a real cameraphone?! Not exactly. In addition, it has a really slim and attractive body, along with a numeric keypad, designed to turn heads from the ground up. Still, its various features and capabilities would not let us refer to it as just a fashion accessory. So what exactly is the UltraTOUCH? In our view, it is a multifunctional - all-purpose - high-end device, designed to satisfy the pretentious needs of a widest range of users, while still being a phone in the first place.


Design:

The Samsung UltraTOUCH succeeds the Soul, but in contrast to it, the navigation touch display is no longer present, emptying some space for the larger 2.8-inch touch-sensitive screen. Right below it, there are just a few buttons – the send and end ones and the uniquely-looking back button, which on our prototype does not feature a “back arrow”. However, it still introduces the unique rhomb-like shape with a metal frame.

Wondering how to dial a number? Slide the phone open to reveal the standard keypad. As a whole, the numeric keys are big enough, but are quite different in design to the ones of the MWC unit. Still, we would avoid giving an opinion on how handy they are, since, as we’ve mentioned above, our unit is a prototype and these elements are a subject to change.

Other elements here are the loudspeaker and the camera for video conversations, positioned above the display. The left side houses only the volume rocker, and the camera shutter, the hold key and the microUSB port (fortunately, there is one) are on the right.

Samsung SLIQ

The concept SLIQ Phone by Samsung introduces advanced touch interface which eliminates the conventional keypad making the overall usage experience a highly tactile one. An extra wide LCD screen maximizes visual impact, allowing the user to benefit from several key features of the phone, including the 2 megapixel camera featuring Schneider-Kreuznach lens, video player and document viewer capacity. Above all, these features contribute to the phone’s beautifully sleek and simplistic appearance.

Health Conscious Phone

Health Conscious Phone can smell and recognize foods eaten by their unique chemical signature. eNose technology is in charge of the process. It tracks and analyses info to let the user know what food groups he/she is missing. In addition the phone features unusual health-related design.

Asus Aura

Asus Aura offers movable navigation module with navigation buttons, another - a sliding QWERTY keyboard that should make text entry much easier.

Other features of Asus Aura include - 3,9″ touchscreen covering the whole surface of the phone, 2 megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot, GSM, UMTS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. All of this in a 6mm thick package.

Unfortunately Asus Aura is just a concept so far and will stay that way probably a few years.

Dual SIM TV Phone V10... PKR Rs. 24095 / $305

If you're a sucker for TV soap operas, the TV Phone V10 is the perfect cellphone for you, featuring a built-in TV tuner that let's you tune in on your favorite programs even when you're out from your home. It works on GSM 900MHz and 1800MHz bands only, so those in America are out of luck. The specifications are pretty ho-hum, with a 2.6" TFT touchscreen display at QVGA resolution (240 x 320 pixels) leading the way, a built-in TV tuner, integrated radio, a 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 ringtones, support for MP3 and MPEG 4 files, and a microSD memory card slot. The dual SIM function lets you hold up to 2 SIM cards simultaneously, but only one can be used at any one time. The TV Phone V10 can be purchased for $305.
